What you do

So we know who we’re building Ask for. It changes nothing in the app.

Your goal
Your file

Recounts your numbers from the file itself. Backups download unencrypted.

Contacts in and out

A readable copy, not a backup. It downloads unencrypted; check your firm’s policy.

CSV or vCard from Outlook or Gmail. Names already in your file are skipped.

What actually happened?

How did it go?

One tap. This is a prospect. The goal is the relationship, not names.

Did you ask?

Good meetings end with new names.
That's the whole engine.

ask

Let’s open
your file.

An account, a passcode, and you’re in. Under a minute.

Sync

Sign in to Ask

Your account password signs devices in and syncs your file. It is separate from the passcode that unlocks this device.

ask

Enter your passcode

Your file is encrypted on this device.

Save this now

Your recovery code

The only way back in if you forget your passcode. Put it in your password manager or somewhere safe. It is not stored anywhere you can read again.

Reset your passcode

Enter your recovery code

The code you saved when you turned on encryption.

Lost the recovery code too? The file can’t be opened without one of the two.

Lock your file

Choose a 6-digit passcode

This passcode encrypts your file on this device and never leaves it, not even to the sync server. Keep it different from your account password. There is no reset without your recovery code.

Terms and privacy

Your data. Your file lives on this device. If you sign in, a copy syncs to your account so your devices stay in step, and if you turn on the passcode lock, that copy is end-to-end encrypted, so the server (and I) can’t read it. Signed-in devices also send basic usage counts (opens and activity totals) to help improve Ask. Your contacts and notes are never part of that, never shared, and never sold. If you clear your browser data or delete the app without an account or a backup, your file is gone, so export a backup regularly.

Your responsibility. You are responsible for keeping the information you enter appropriate and compliant with your firm’s policies and your regulatory obligations. Do not enter account numbers, Social Security numbers, or other sensitive client data. Ask. is a prospecting habit tool, not a system of record. Your CRM is.

No warranty. Ask. is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. Use at your own risk. Nothing here is legal, tax, investment, or compliance advice.

Ownership. Ask., its design, and its underlying system are © 2026 Trent Grzegorczyk. All rights reserved. You may use the app; you may not copy, modify, distribute, resell, or create derivative works from it without written permission.
